Margaret L. Henderson

Margaret L. Henderson, 86, of Glen Alpine, NC went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 17, 2015.  Born in Hollywood, FL on December 1, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Willis M. Ventry and Cora Lee Carter Ventry.  Margaret was a member of Praise Assembly of God.  Margaret lived the majority of her life in West Palm Beach, FL, moving to Burke County in 2004 to be near her daughter.  She was a fifth generation grandmother.

Mrs. Henderson is survived by her children, Peggy Hackman and husband, Richard, of Glen Alpine, NC, Danny Henderson and wife, Brenda, of New Port Richey, FL, and Michael Henderson and wife, Graceanna of West Palm Beach, FL; eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Henderson.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Praise Assembly of God with the Rev. Kevin Crawford officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the church.  The graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Assembly of God Cemetery in Hayesville, NC at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 23, 2015.
