Margaret Stewart Kindley Boyles, 80, of Blossom Lane, Morganton, NC died Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at Grace Hospital. Born February 26, 1926 in Cumberland County, NC, she was a daughter of the late William G. and Meta Stewart Kindley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl L. Boyles, Sr. Margaret was a resident of Orlando, FL for over 30 years and had worked as a paralegal for the Mark Rabinowitz Law Firm. In her younger years, she had worked in radio and T.V. broadcasting. Margaret was a licensed pilot and an avid artist and photographer. She was a devoted member of New Hope Moravian Church in Hickory, NC.
Margaret is survived by sons, Earl L. Boyles, Jr. and wife, Glenda of Kennesaw, GA, and Darrell Boyles and wife, Sabrina of Baker, FL; a daughter, Peggy Shuping and husband, Rex of Morganton; grandchildren, Jason Boyles, Amy Boyles, Kate Morley, Sam Morley, Savanna Boyles, Nathan Boyles, Michael Phillips and wife, Cathy, Linda Turner, Tracey Mason and husband, Robert; step-grandsons, Daris Shuping, James Shuping, and Kevin Shuping; and great grandchildren, Megan Turner, Nicole Mason, Rachel Mason, Mitchell Phillips, and Cara Phillips.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 30, 2006 at New Hope Moravian Church with Rev. John Rainey officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Moravian Church, 2897 Sandy Ford Rd., Newton, NC 28658. Sossoman Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
