Maria Rhyne Pritchard

Maria Rhyne Pritchard, 52, of Hartland Rd., Morganton, NC died unexpectedly Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Lenoir, NC as a result of an auto accident. She was born March 28, 1955 in Mitchell County, NC, and was the daughter of Ernest Rhyne of Gastonia, NC and the late Bessie Valena Harvey Rhyne. Maria was a member of Morganton Freedom Church of God, and was employed at Employment Staffing Company in Hickory. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, C. J. Pritchard.In addition to her father, Maria is survived by her husband of 25 years, Timothy J. Pritchard of the home; a half-brother, Allen Rhyne of Gastonia, NC; and her mother-in-law, Linda Pritchard of Morganton.The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 26, 2008 at Morganton Freedom Church of God with Rev. Todd Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Burke Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:30 until 3:00 p.m. at the church. At other times the family will be at the home on Hartland Rd. Sossoman Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
