Marianne LaFevers Westall

Marianne LaFevers Westall, 82, of Morganton died Tuesday, April 16, 2013. She was born in Frankfort, Germany on September 28, 1930. Marianne was an active and lifelong member of Bethel United Methodist Church on Bethel Road. She retired from Drexel Heritage in 1985.Mrs. Westall is survived by her husband, Wade Westall of the home; a son, Harry LaFevers and his wife, Sun, of DuPont, WA; grandchildren, Christina Lopez and her husband, Martin, of Clarksville, TN and Victoria LaFevers of Manhattan, NY; and great-grandchildren, Marabella and Christopher Lopez.Marianne was preceded in death by her first husband, Spurling Lee LaFevers.The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Bethel United Methodist Church on Bethel Road with the Reverends Butch Osborne and Willie Rash officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon at the church from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m.Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, 1328 Bethel Road, Morganton, NC 28655.Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
