Marie C. Graney, 85, of Hyder Ct., Morganton, died unexpectedly on Friday, February 6, 2009 at her residence. She was preceded in death by husband, Nicholas M. Graney, a brother, Daniel Curry, and a sister, Rita Curry.Marie is survived by her daughters, Mary Anne Scott of Asheville, NC, Margaret Post and husband, Richard, of Morganton, and Kathleen Fischer and husband, William, of Howey In The Hills, FL; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.Services will be held at a later date in Ft. Pierce, FL. Sossoman Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements.
