Marie T. Buff

Marie T. Buff, 70, of Morganton died Thursday, November 20, 2014. She was born August 31, 1944 in Burke County to the late Walter Tweed and Jonsey Miranda Poteet Swink. Marie was a member of Missionary Ridge Baptist Church.
In addition to her parent Marie is preceded in death by a son, Gary Woodrow Buff.
Marie is survived by her husband of 56 years, Woodrow Buff of the home; children, Jonathan Buff of Morganton and Gina Perez and husband, Robert of Corpus Christi, TX; grandchildren, William Colt Herron and wife, Amanda, Whitney Setzer and husband, Hoss, Jody Buff, Zane Buff, Jordan Buff, Taylor Perez, Cage Perez and Travis Buff; great-grandchildren, Makenzie Herron, Easton Herron and Hoss Lane Setzer; brothers, Rex Tweed and Ellen of Morganton and Fred Tweed and wife, Nora of Rockwood, TN; sisters, Myrtle Cannon and husband, Joe of Connelly Springs, Dianne White of Valdese and Revonda Tweed of Morganton.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Missionary Ridge Baptist Church with Reverends Donald Lovelace and Al Tinnin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
