Marinetta Harris Fisher

Marinetta Harris Fisher, 81, of Morganton died Sunday, August 12, 2018.  Born in Burke County, NC on November 30, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Vernon Harris and Grace Virginia White Harris.  Marinetta was a member of First United Methodist Church.  She was a graduate of the Grace Hospital School of Nursing and retired from Broughton Hospital after 27 years.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Luther Fisher of the home; sons, Chip Fisher (Heidi) of Knoxville, TN and Steve Fisher (Tisha) of Morganton; grandchildren, Cameron, Kendall, and Patch Fisher; and other extended family.

In addition to her parents, Marinetta was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Noles.

A celebration of Mrs. Fisher’s life will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dana McKim and Dr. Thomas A. Bland, Jr. officiating.  The family will greet friends at the church following the service.
