Mark Hampton Passante

Mark Hampton Passante, 32, of Morganton, NC passed away, Sunday, July 17, 2022. Born on May, 1, 1990, he was the son of Mark Anthony and Susan Passante. Mark was a member of First Baptist Church. He graduated from Freedom High School in 2008 and Culinary Arts from Johnson and Wales University.  

In addition to his parents, Mark is survived by his step-father, James C. Drye; his K-9 companion, Lucky; paternal grandfather, James J. Passante.

Mark is preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Cowan; aunt, Jeanne Cowan.

A memorial service will be held at 11am, Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Sossoman Funeral Home with the Dr. Thomas A. Bland Jr. officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Burke County Friends for Animals or the charity of your choice.
