Marsha Lynne Foster

Marsha Lynne Foster, 64, of Morganton, NC passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at her residence. Lynne was born March 2, 1952 in Burke County, NC to Larry Allen Foster and the late Marilyn Turner Foster.
Lynne was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother that loved her family dearly. She was co-owner of Paws & Claws Pet Village where she enjoyed working with the animals. Lynne taught business and accounting at Western Piedmont Community College and Gardner Webb University. She had a love for teaching and liked to watch her students learn. Lynne was a member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church.
In addition to her father, Lynne is survived by her daughter, Heather Baker; grandson, Keenan Maynor; and great-granddaughter, Keeana Maynor. She is also survived by brothers, Chris Foster and wife, Belinda, Allen Foster, and Steve Foster and wife, Linda; nieces, Jody Foster and Candice Slaughter and husband, Derek; nephew, Douglas Foster; and her fur babies, Bentley and Bailey.
In addition to her mother, Lynne was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Lawana Foster.
A gathering of friends and family will be Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Sossoman Funeral Home.
