Marshall Conrad Roberson, 70 of Lake Wylie, SC, died Thursday, July 10, 2014. Born in Cleveland County, NC on September 25, 1943, he was the son of Fred Marshall Roberson and the late Mary Ella Apple Roberson. Marshall was a graduate of Morganton High School and in 1966 graduated from UNC Charlotte. He worked with Blue Cross Blue Shield for many years as an accountant and later owned his own company Health Care Resource Association in Charlotte.
In addition to his father, Marshall is survived by his wife, Shirley Webb Roberson of the home; son, Marshall "Marty" C. Robserson, II of Lake Wylie; daughter, Tamara Hartman and husband, Shane of Clover, SC; sister, Kathy Roberson, of Tucson, AZ; and grandchild, William Lee Woods.
The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 13, 2014 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center with Rev. Jerry Gamble officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Community Care, P.O. Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29731.
