Martha Louise Reep Barber

Martha Louise Reep Barber, 50, of Oak Crest Drive, Marion, NC, died Thursday, May 08, 2008 at her residence. Born in Horry County, SC on December 13, 1957, she was the daughter of Rev. Ralph Reep and Linda Dale Taylor Reep. Martha was a member of Gethsemane Free Will Baptist Church. She was the church pianist for thirty-six years. She loved teaching and being with the children of the church. She loved her sons who were the center of her world, and she was a big help to her father in his ministry.A faithful and loving wife, mother, daughter, and companion; she is survived by her husband, Ron Barber of the home; sons, Mark Edward Barber and Mathew Dale Barber and wife, Julie, all of Marion; and her parents-in-law, Paul Edward Barber and Doris Jean Barber of Marion. Martha was looking forward to the arrival of her first grandchild this November.Martha was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Martha Taylor and Hilda Reep.A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery in Marion, NC with Rev. Ronyal Reep officiating. The family will receive friends at Sossoman Funeral Home from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. before the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideon’s International, P.O.
