Mary K. Faucher, 90, of Fiddler’s Court, Morganton, NC, died Thursday, January 26, 2006 at Grace Hospital following a period of declining health. Born in Scranton, PA on November 19, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Mary Bohan Kohut. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman P. Faucher. Mary was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
Mary is survived by a special friend, Katherine Holland of Morganton; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 30, 2006 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with Rev. Kenneth Whittington officiating. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m., Monday in Belmont Abby Cemetery, Belmont, NC. Mrs. Faucher will lie in state at the church thirty minutes before the service. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 728 W. Union St., Morganton, NC 28655. Sossoman Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.
