Mary Lyles Wigfall

Mary Lyles Wigfall, 84, of Drexel, NC, formerly of Washington, D.C. went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 25, 2017.  She was born in Washington, D.C. on May 31, 1933.  Mary grew up in the Catholic church.  She retired from the U.S. Government, having worked in the payroll department of the U.S. Army.  She enjoyed seeing the church members from Restoration Christian Outreach Church.

Mrs. Wigfall is survived by her son, Deac. Austin Wigfall, II of Morganton; Mark Wigfall of Burlington, NJ, and Vinny Wigfall of Washington, D.C.; grandchildren, Austin Wigfall, III, Mark A. Wigfall, II, and Julie Renee Wigfall; and 3 special friends, Deac. Jerry Corpening, Sister Elizabeth Corpening, and Minister Eric Price.  Mary is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles in the Baltimore, MD area.

Mary was preceded in death by husband, Austin Wigfall; son, Gerry Wigfall; and sister, Justine Wigfall.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm, Friday, June 30, 2017 at Restoration Christian Outreach Church (805 Vine Arden Road, Morganton, NC).  Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family.
