Matthew August Caiaccia, 41, of Morganton, NC, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 18, 2024.
Born in New York on July 6, 1983, he was the son of James Marion Caiaccia and Nancy Ann Vielie Caiaccia.
Matthew was a loving son, brother, and friend. He had a kind, generous heart and was always helping others.
In addition to his parents, Matthew is survived by a brother, Benjamin James Caiaccia; and numerous extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m., Monday, December 23, 2024 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home with Mr. Matt Pisani and Mrs. Melissa Pisani officiating.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
