Michael A. McDavid, 59, of Drexel, NC passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013. Born on September 24, 1953, he was the son of the late Bobbie M. McDavid and Minnie Sue Beck McDavid.Michael is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Lisa M. McDavid; a son, Neil Austin McDavid; brothers, Donald B. McDavid and Timothy L. McDavid; a sister, Teresa A. McDavid; loved ones from his extended family, Doug and Marion Miller, Joe, Tanya, and Daniel Miller, Denice Seng, Alex and Abby Selig, and Angel Boseman; and countless children he has had the opportunity to foster, nurture, and love over the last 20 years.A celebration of Michael’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 25, 2013 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Lineberger officiating.
