It is with heavy hearts that the family of Michael Chad Buckner, 48, of Morganton, announce his peaceful passing on Friday, September 1, 2023.
Born on April 11, 1975 in Morganton, NC, he was the son of Michael A. Buckner and Joyce Wise Buckner. Chad was born and raised in Burke County. He was a beloved husband and father.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 27 years, Stacie Buckner and daughters, Madison and Hannah Buckner of Morganton; brother, Mark Buckner and wife, Beth; nephew, Cole Buckner; niece, Katlyn Buckner.
A graveside service will be held at noon, Monday, September 4, 2023 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with the Revs. Rocky Reese and Randy Clark officiating.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
