Michael Keith Stewart

Michael Keith Stewart, 63, of Lake Wylie, SC, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, September 18, 2022.

Born in Burke County, NC on September 16, 1959, he was the son of Henry Vernon Stewart and the late Mabel Faye Digh Stewart.  Michael was self-employed as Tiger Due Diligence Group, LLC and was a veteran of the NC National Guard.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but especially spending time with his family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Margaret Samuel Stewart; son, Alban W. Stewart; father, Henry V. Stewart; brothers, James Stewart and wife, Sylvia, of Lawndale, NC and Rick Stewart and partner, Georgiana, of St. Petersburg, FL; his closest friends, Freddie Davis of Lenoir, NC and Steve Taylor of Charlotte, NC; and numerous other extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Sossoman Funeral Home.  The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home with Revs. Jack Gouge and Jerry Gamble officiating.  Burial will follow in Burke Memorial Park with military honors provided by the NC National Guard and the Caldwell County Veterans Honor Guard.
