Nana Lynn Hensley

Nana Lynn Hensley, 69, of Morganton went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 14, 2019. Born in Washington County, TN on August 25, 1949, she was the daughter of the late J.C. Overman and Mary Sue Laws Overman. Nana was a member of Morganton Wesleyan Church. She was a devoted mother who dearly loved her family and had many friends that she would do anything for. She owned and operated her own hair salon for over 30 years and loved to take care of her flowers.

Nana is survived by her children, Tammy Lisa Hensley and Bobby Wayne Hensley (Arty); grandchildren, Amanda, April, and Joshua Campbell; brother, Jeff Overman; sister, Toni Bennett; a number of nieces, nephews, and other extended family; and her cat, Gabby. In addition to her parents,

Nana was preceded in death by brothers, J. C. Overman, Jr., Jimmy Dean Overman, and Jackie Overman; and s sister, Linda Sue Overman.

The graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at Rainhill Wesleyan Church Cemetery with Rev. Lou Gardner officiating.
