Nancy A. Thomas

Nancy A. Thomas, 58 of Rivershadow St., Glen Alpine died Thursday, August 14, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Brookline, Mass. on March 31, 1950 and was a daughter of the late Arthur and Cynthia June Brown Churchill.Surviving are her husband, Terry Ray Thomas, of the home; daughters, Pam Morrison and her husband, Mike, of Mebane, NC, Teri Ann Thomas, and Ashley Rae Thomas, both of Morganton; a son, Timothy Robert Thomas, of Morganton; and her grandchildren, whom she loved and who were her world, Mikie Morrison, Kailie Ann Morrison, and Brenna Ann Metcalf.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 17, 2008, at First Baptist Church of Glen Alpine with Reverends Michael Brown and Mike Morrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Glen Alpine Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the funeral hour. At other times the family will be at the home, 105 Rivershadow Street.
