Nelia Ann Johnson

Nelia Ann Johnson, 71, of Morganton died Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Lenoir. Born on February 24, 1942 in Burke County, she was the daughter of the late Ransom S. Robinson and Trivie Mae Lowman Robinson Williams.Nelia is survived by her son, Jeffrey Johnson of Morganton; and two sisters, Shirley Robinson and her husband, Tom, of Rutherford College and Mildred Prestwood and her husband, Danny, of Granite Falls.In addition to her parents, Nelia was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Mae Cooke, and a brother, Eugene Robinson.The funeral will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, June 17, 2013 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with the Rev. George Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in the Calvary Assembly of God Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 until noon prior to the service. Sossoman Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
