Nemma DeRosa, 82, of Morganton, NC passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018. Born in Jackson County, NC on January 5, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Albert Henry Ward and Molly Wood Ward.
Nemma was a member of Drexel Christian Center and was a very faithful wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a Christian lady that believed in Jesus and loved to minister to everyone and wished for all to be saved. Nemma was a humanitarian and believed in equality. She would help anyone and she loved flowers and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry DeRosa.
Those left to cherish her memory are son, Jerry DeRosa, Jr of Morganton; daughters, Bonnie Barnett and husband, Thomas of Morganton and Laurie DeRosa of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Johnathan Barnett and wife, Cindy and Zachary Barnett all of Morganton; and sister, Katie Letterman.
The funeral service for Mrs. DeRosa will be private.
