I am so sorry for your loss. Nick was always a good friend to me. We met at my elementary and were friends all the way through school. As adults, Nick would always show up to help me when I was in a bind. The night before he died, before the storm I went to nicks to ask to borrow a rope to tie myself off so I could get on the roof and put some sealer around my chimney where it had leaked. Nick stood up and said, “I can’t let you go up on the roof and do that, I will come do that for you, just give me about 30 minutes.” That act of kindness was not random of Nick, it was regular behavior around me, for me and for others he interacted with. He had a huge heart. I miss him tremendously and I and will never meet no one like him. He Will be missed by many and never forgotten. My heart goes out to his family, Winston, Shane, Tammy and Timmy. You all will be in my prayers. May God blessed each of you and ease your pain with His love and grace.
