Nina Kathleen Stewart

Nina Kathleen Stewart, 92, of Harper Ave., Lenoir, NC, formerly of Morganton, died Thursday, May 11, 2006 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital following a period of declining health. She was born May 12, 1913 in Catawba County, NC, and was a daughter of the late E. Wilson Drum and Bertha Drum Drum. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Major H. Stewart. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Morganton, and a retired employee of the F. W. Woolworth Company.

Nina is survived by sons, Bobby Stewart of Grayson, GA, and John Stewart of Winter Gardens, FL; daughters, Myra Smith of Boise, ID, and Sandra McKee of Morganton; sisters, Lutie Williams of Maiden, NC, and Geneva Johnson of Salina, KS; brothers, Bill Drum of Cary, NC, and Jolly Drum of Burke, VA; ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, three step-great grandchildren, and one step-great great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, May 15, 2006 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Stephens officiating. The family will receive friends Monday one hour before the funeral service. The burial will be Wednesday in the Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando, FL.
