Nina Kirk Wellmon

Nina Kirk Wellmon, 90, of Drexel, NC passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017.  Born in Cleveland County, NC on August 18, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Bozy Seaton Wellmon and Sarah Mabel Poston Wellmon.

Nina is survived by a sister, Willie Annas of Rutherford College, NC and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Nina was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Elizabeth Wellmon, Mabel Wellmon, and Dorothy Boone; 4 brothers, Hershell Wellmon, Alvin Eugene Wellmon, Frank Wellmon, and Curtis Wellmon; a nephew; and a niece.

A graveside service will be held at 11am, Friday, June 2, 2017 at Forest Hill Cemetery with the Rev. April Abernethy officiating.

The family of Miss Wellmon would like to thank the staff at the Cambridge House and Burke Hospice for the loving care they showed to Nina and her family.
