Noah Anthony Norman, 12, of Morganton, NC went home to be with Jesus on March 1, 2016. Born on July 3, 2003 in Burke County, NC he was the son of Robert William Norman of Newton and Ginny Lee Ann McCall Parlier of Morganton. Noah had attended Chesterfield Elementary School and was currently in the seventh grade at Walter Johnson Middle School. He loved basketball, coloring, puzzles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and watching movies. Noah also loved racing in the Soap Box Derby. He was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his step-father, Lance Parlier of Morganton; brothers, Wyatt William Norman and twin brother, Nicholas Lee Norman of the home; paternal grandmother, Faye Hipps Fisher of Newton; maternal grandfather, Charlie McCall of Morganton; six uncles and their spouses; one aunt and her spouse ; and a huge number of cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Linda Beam McCall and uncle, Andy McCall.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Pleasant View Baptist Church. The service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the church with Rev. Dr. Burt Wilbur officiating. The burial will follow at McCall Family Cemetery.
