Norma Reep Curtis

Norma Reep Curtis, 67, of Jamestown Road, Morganton, NC died Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Grace Hospital. Born in Burke County, NC on May 4, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Calhoun and Ellen Lorine Reep. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Venard Curtis, and brothers, Dennis Michaels and Doug Michaels.Norma is survived by her children, Cheryl Price, Dale Curtis, Nick Curtis, and Shawn Curtis, all of Morganton; grandsons, Cody Price, Curt Hoyle, Zachary Curtis, and Aaron Curtis; and sisters, Vickie Trull of Morganton and Dana Chapman of Hickory.There will be no services held for Norma. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Southmountain Children’s Home, 7330 Myrtle Dr., Nebo, NC 28761. Sossoman Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
