Norman Fred Bell

Norman Fred Bell, 66, of Glen Alpine went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 11, 2019.  Born on July 25, 1952, he was the son of the late Keener Fred Bell and Cecile Mae Kincaid Bell.  Norman enjoyed working on things around the house, deer hunting, but especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.  He worked at Morganton Dye and Finishing for 27 years.

Norman is survived by his wife, Joyce Moses Bell of the home; son, Norman Brint Bell (Jackie); daughter, Shannon Renee Bell; grandchildren, Chloe Woody, Terry Owens, Keasha Coleman (Eric), Kelly Coleman (Chris Boone), Rassie Swink, Brittany Swink, Jordan McNeely, and Brayden McNeely; sisters, Frances Clark (Brad), Jean Lane (Leon), and Cathy Frye (David); and brother, Rodney Bell (Wanda).

In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by a son, Terry Bell; sister, Linda Bell, and brother, Gary Bell.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m., Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center.  The graveside service will follow at 1:15 p.m. at Burke Memorial Park with Rev. Ed Morris officiating.
