Pamela Jo Hollifield

Our beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend, Pamela Jo Hollifield, 36, departed this earthly existence to the next, to be with and beside her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, April 8, 2016. She was born June 7, 1979 to Joe and Kathy Robinson Hollifield who survive her. Pamela loved and lived life to the fullest. She loved her children and always had a smile and was proud of her grandson. Pamela attended Burke County Public Schools before living in Havelock, NC for some time. She held managerial positions there and in the Morganton area before becoming disabled.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Floye and Bobbie Hollifield and Wallace Robinson; an uncle; aunts; and cousin.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her children, Brooklyn Hollifield, Danika and Donovan Becton and grandson, Cameron Hollifield; her companion, Adrian Corpening; grandmother, Sue Robinson and step-grandfather; step-father, David Tate; aunts, Lisa, Dawna, Joni Caralyn and Minnie and all their spouses.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Burkemont Baptist Church. A celebration of life service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the church with Rev. Eddie Bunton and Rev. Dr. David Mills officiating.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
