Pansy Pauline Allen Walker

Pansy Pauline Allen Walker, 87, of Morganton, NC died on Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Born in Caldwell County on September 26, 1927, she was the daughter of the late John Franklin Allen and Ettie Mae Greer Allen.
Mrs. Walker was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Hudson and worked for Buster Brown for over twenty years. She enjoyed traveling and golfing.
Pansy is survived by an adopted son, George Bristol and wife, Shirley of Morganton; grandchildren, Mike and Marty Bumgarner and Cindy and David Crater; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Kelly, Benjamin, and Kyle Bumgarner, Brian and Livia Crater, and April and Scott Ledford; great-great-grandchildren, Isis and Abby Crater and Riley Ledford; a special niece, Judy Rwals; a special neighbor, Edna Weller; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Pansy was preceded in death by her husband, James Oscar “J.O.” Walker and ten brothers and sisters.
The graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, 2015 in Bellview Cemetery in Lenoir with Rev. Lonnie Bell officiating.
