Patrick Tom Lail, 29, of Morganton, NC, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.
Born in Burke County, NC on December 11, 1992, he was the son of Gerald Eugene Lail and Celia Lorraine Dellinger Lail (Levon). Patrick was a member of Walker’s Chapel Baptist Church. He was a kind-hearted, friendly person and would go out of his way to help others. Patrick enjoyed playing games on his telephone and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents and father-in-law, Patrick is survived by a sister, Leslie Lail Lane; brother, Brent Lail; niece, Summer Lane, and nephews, Bailey and Grayson Lane.
Patrick was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Avis Dellinger; and paternal grandparents, Carlie and Beulah Lail.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m., Sunday, October 16, 2022 at Smart’s Grove Baptist Church. The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. in the church with Revs. Charles Lewis and John White officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
