Patsy Bingham

Patsy Bingham, 78, of Morganton died Monday, July 16, 2012. Born in Cleveland County, NC on May 3, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Jenes Melton and Maudie Loami Beatty Melton. Patsy was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church.A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by her sons, Mark Bingham and his wife, Tamra, and Jeffrey Bingham and his wife, Kimberly; grandchildren, Emily, Ben, Phillip, and Travis Bingham; a brother, Herman Melton and his wife, Maude; and a number of nephews and nieces.In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Fermin Glenn Bingham; siblings, Zeno Melton, Everette Melton, Fay Melton, Fred Melton, Ethel Guffey, Rosco Melton, Vosco Melton, and Annie Melton.The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church with Rev. George Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service.
