Patsy McNeely Brittain

Patsy McNeely Brittain, 76, of Morganton, NC died Sunday, November 24th, 2013. Born in Cleveland County, NC on March 12th, 1937, she was the daughter of the late William Thor McNeely and Lonnie Lane McNeely. Patsy was a member of Mount Home Baptist Church. Whether you knew her as Pat, Pasty Joyce, Gran, or Grannycat, there's no chance you soon forgot her. Quick to laugh and a bit of a prankster, she would brighten a room with her beautiful smile and twinkling blue eyes!She is survived by her children and grandchildren; momma to Teresa Brittain-Jordan and husband ‘AJ’, Ed Brittain and wife Nancy. She was Grandmother or ‘GrannyCat’ to Malachi, Sonja, Wesley, and Jessica, and Great GrannyKitty to Trenton Stone. Siblings to Ann Towery, Norma Fuller and husband Walter, Gary McNeely and wife Delores, and many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family too numerous to list but not forgotten.Patsy is reunited with her beloved husband, Billy Brittain, and preceded in death by siblings Doyle, Hal, Dot, & Gilbert.The Funeral will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, November27th, 2013 at Mount Home Baptist Church. Entombment will follow at Burke Memorial Park Mausoleum.
