Patti Smith Daniels

Patti Smith Daniels, 68, of Beaufort, NC died Monday, April 4, 2011 at her residence. Born in Rutherford County, NC on January 29, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Carroll and Neil Carroll. Patti was a 1961 graduate of Cool Springs High Schools.Patti is survived by her children, Michael Smith, owner of Salon Professionals, Eddie Smith of Lincolnton, NC, and Wanda Helms of Denver, NC; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brothers, Tommy Carroll of FL and Lionel Carroll of Forest City, NC.A celebration of Patti’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, April 17, 2011 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with David Stevenson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will follow in Burke Memorial Park.
