Paul Abraham Fisher

Paul Abraham Fisher, 72, of Morganton passed away peacefully on Monday, April 19, 2021 while surrounded by his family.  Born in Rutherford County, NC on April 20, 1948, he was the son of the late Claude Harlon Fisher and Lillie Mae Jones Fisher.  Paul was a member of Silver Creek Baptist Church.  Paul worked as a sheet metal mechanic and enjoyed motorcycles.  He loved doing anything outdoors, including hunting and fishing.

Paul is survived by his daughter, Melissa Hope Fisher; brothers, Buddy Fisher (Daleleen) and Steve Fisher (Judy); and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by six siblings, Lawrence Fisher, Hazel Fisher McNeely, Beatrice Fisher Webb, Charles Fisher, Henry Fisher, and Mary Ann Fisher Morrow.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 23, 2021 at Silver Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Revs. Dwayne Buchanan and Larry Thompson officiating.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Paul’s niece, Lisa Fisher, and the staff of Autumn Care for the wonderful care he received.
