Paul Garland Emery

Paul Garland Emery, 70, of Morganton, NC died Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at his residence. Born November 15, 1941 in Rockingham Co., NH, he was a son of the late Raymond Emery and Mildred Brooks Emery. Paul served in the US Navy for four years.Paul was retired, and he was the proprietor of a nursery and landscape business in South Berwick, ME. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.He is survived by a son, David Emery of Morganton; a granddaughter, Mary Sarah Emery; two brothers, Steve Emery of Westmoreland, NH, and Raymond Emery of North Berwick, ME; and several nieces and nephews.At Paul’s request, no services will be held. His cremated remains will be scattered in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
