Pauline Louise Taylor

Pauline Louise Taylor, 68, of Morganton, NC died Thursday, July 26, 2012 at her residence. Born October 17, 1943 in Caldwell County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Sterling and Annie Thompson Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Louise Taylor. Pauline was a former employee of Grace Heights for many years.She is survived by two daughters, Carrie Thompson and husband, Stewart, of Morganton; and Cathy Lankford and husband, Eddie, of Roan Mountain, TN; a granddaughter, Amanda Conley of Morganton; three great-grandchildren who were very close to Pauline, Ethan, Emma, and Tyler Conley; and two brothers, Sterling Taylor, Jr. and wife, Linda, and Tommy Taylor, all of Roan Mountain.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 29, 2012 at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church with Rev. Francis King officiating. Burial will follow at Newland Cemetery in Newland, NC. The family will receive friends in the Parish Hall one hour prior to the service. Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with arrangements.
