Pearl M. Gordon

Pearl M Gordon, 85, of Morganton died Tuesday, October 16, 2018.  Mrs. Gordon was born December 4, 1932 in Detroit, MI to the late James Eugene Pulver and Jeannet LaValley Pulver.  She was a loving mother and grandmother and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Lee Gordon; a brother; and two sisters.

Mrs. Gordon is survived by her sons, Dan Gordon (Cheryl) and Jim Gordon (Melinda) of Michigan; daughter, Paula Gruber (Jay) of Morganton; grandchildren, Angie Hartnagle (John), Brandon Gordon (Jess), Erica Coryell (Ryan), Andrea Center (Stephen, Jr.), Mary Gruber, Beth Waldon, and Amanda Gordon; five great-grandchildren; extended family; Libby White and other extended family.

The family will receive friends at 1 p.m., Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Riverside Baptist Church.  The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. in the church with Rev. James Heffner officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
