Peggy Sue Keeter, 53, of Morganton, NC died Monday, July 25, 2011 at her residence. Born on April 23, 1958 in Burke County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Eli Cooper, Jr. and Diane Courtright Cooper. Peggy was a retired employee of Broughton Hospital, having worked in admissions.Peggy is survived by her son, Brandon Keeter; granddaughters, Heaven Jade Keeter and Teagen Bryce Keeter; a brother, Larry Cooper of Monroe, NC; and a sister, Yulita Hensley and husband, Sonny, of Morganton.A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
