Philip Ray DeMarco, 79, of Morganton, NC, peacefully passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
Born in New York on November 18, 1945, he was the son of the late Patsy and Mabel Caiazza.
Philip held a variety of jobs including cab driver in Brooklyn, NY (about which he loved telling stories) and working in textiles. He was a hard, dedicated worker, a huge animal lover (especially dogs), and loved computers.
Philip is survived by his wife, Margaret Quievryn DeMarco; daughters, Angela Beaver and Elizabeth Campbell; step-sons, Edward Solomon and David Przywara (Jamie); step-daughter, Victoria Solomon (Jenny); grandchildren, Claire Przywara, Morgan McCarson, and Chase McCarson; and sister, Patricia Caiazza.
A celebration of Philip’s life will be held at a later date.
