Ralph Garfield Davis

Ralph Garfield Davis, 74, of Black Mountain, formerly of Morganton, died Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Ralph was born January 26, 1947 in Maryland to the late Vergil Perseghin and Juanita Davis Derwinis. He was a veteran of the US Navy and a member of Arneys Fairview United Methodist Church. Ralph had worked for the City of Morganton as a parking/meter officer. He enjoyed music, played guitar, and was a talented saxophone player. Ralph also enjoyed bowling and sharing a story with friends.

Ralph will lie in state Monday, February 22, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Sossoman Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 12 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow at Arneys Fairview United Methodist Church.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
