Ralph Sexton Digh, 68, of Morganton, NC died on Saturday, December 19, 2015. Born in Burke County, NC on October 12, 1947, he was the son of the late Fonz Digh and Lonnie Mull Digh.
Sexton was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He graduated from Salem High School and attended Catawba Valley Technical Institute. Sexton owned and operated Art Flower Shop. He loved to farm and raise cattle.
Sexton is survived by an uncle, Bill Digh of Morganton; cousins, Bobbie Ewing of Florida, Josh Goins and wife, Heather and their daughter, Emma, of Morganton and Earlene Frost and many other cousins.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his cousins, Nancy O’Neal and Juanita M. Chapman.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center. The graveside service will be follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Forest Hill Cemetery with Rev. Larry Cline officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 2396 Enola Road, Morganton, NC 28655. Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
