Ramon Bennett Gallegos

Ramon Bennett Gallegos, 25 of Morganton, NC died unexpectedly at his home Sunday, May 20, 2018.  Born July 9, 1992 in Burke County, NC, he was the son of Raymond John Gallegos and Rosemary Cobb Gallegos.  He was a very loving son, brother, and awesome Daddy to Aiden, who was his pride and joy. Ramon loved his friends, UNC Tar Heels, and the Charlotte Hornets, and especially his dogs.

In addition to his mom, Ramon is survived by a son, Aiden Michael Bennett Gallegos of the home; a sister, Ryann Terrell Gallegos of Morganton; maternal grandmother, Ethel Biggerstaff of Morganton; a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins; and Aiden’s mother, Caisy Dellinger.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Terrell Wayne Biggerstaff; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ramon Gallegos.

The family will receive friends at Sossoman Funeral Home on Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 3 to 4 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Denton’s Chapel United Methodist Church cemetery with the Rev. Homer Murdock officiating.
