Ramona Kerley Brown

Ramona Kerley Brown, 42, of Piercy Avenue, Morganton died unexpectedly Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008. She was born Jan. 25, 1966 in Catawba County and was a daughter of Carl and Louella Anderson Kerley. Ramona was a member of South Mountain Baptist Church and a former employee of Drexel Heritage Furnishings.Left to cherish Ramona with loving memories are her parents, Carl and Louella Kerley of the home; husband, Johnny Lee Brown; daughters, Shasta Nicole Stroupe and husband, Josh, of Morganton, and Hali Tabitha Solesby of Raleigh, NC; brothers, Scott Kerley and wife, Anna Ruth, and Howard Kerley and wife, Tammy, all of Morganton; a sister, Carla Kerley Aldridge of Morganton; and grandchildren, Davin Stroupe, Raylin Stroupe, Dylan Stroupe, and Harley Solesby.Ramona was preceded in death by a grandson, Dakota Patton.The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2008, at Sossoman Funeral Home. At other times the family will be at the residence, 124 Piercy Avenue, Morganton.
