Reba Stillwell Canipe

Reba Stillwell Canipe, 57, of Connelly Springs, NC died Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Catawba Valley Medical Center following several courageous battles with breast cancer. Born in Catawba County, NC on November 4, 1953, she was the daughter of Margie Taylor Stillwell of Connelly Springs and the late Vernon Stillwell. Reba loved fishing and the outdoors. She was a loving wife and mother.Reba is survived by her husband of 37 years, William "Billy Joe" Canipe of the home; daughters, Jaime Canipe of Hickory, NC and Traci Canipe of the home; a grandson, Hunter Canipe of the home; a brother, Vernon Ray Stillwell of Morganton; sisters, Joann Causby and husband, Jackie, of Morganton and Blenda McMahon of Cherryville, NC; and numerous nephews and nieces.A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Olive Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Edyth Pruitt officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Sossoman Funeral Home. At other times the family will be at the residence.
