Rebecca "Becky" Morrison Arrowood

Rebecca “Becky” Morrison Arrowood, 81 of Morganton, NC passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021. Born August 16, 1940 in Rutherford County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Ralph E. Morrison and Macie Devinney Morrison. Mrs. Arrowood was a member of Catawba Valley Baptist Church and retired from Henredon Furniture.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Talmadge Arrowood; brother, George Neal Morrison; and sisters, Nellie Dobson and Helen Snook Elliott.

Those left to cherish her memory include, her daughter, Debbie Arrowood Bruns (Fritz “Bo”); grandchildren, Charles Bruns (Jessi) and Chelsea Weatherman (Seth); and great-grandchildren, Everleigh Bruns, and Warren and Colton Copeland. Also including brother, Jack Morrison (Kathy); friend, Leonard Brown; many nieces and nephews; and her canine companion, “Mimi”.

The memorial service will be held at 3p.m., Sunday, November 14 at Catawba Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Jesse Lott officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Catawba Valley Building Fund.
