Regina Ingle Lockee

Regina Ingle Lockee, 56, of Valdese, NC went to her heavenly home Sunday, March 6, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer.  She fought her battle with determination and faithfulness.  Regina was born December 31, 1959 to the late Earl Williams Ingle and Alma Berry Ingle.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Mangrum Berry and William “Bill” Ingle; and her beloved father-in-law, Coyte Lockee.

Regina graduated from Western Piedmont Community College with a degree in nursing.  She worked at Grace Hospital, the state prison system, and Broughton Hospital.

Mrs. Lockee is survived by her husband, Jerry Lockee of the home; two sons, Justin Lockee and his girlfriend, Ashley McGinnes, and Chad Lockee and his wife, Amy; sisters, Betty Greer and her husband, Danny, and Carolyn Jones and her husband, Wayne; a special grandson who brought her joy, Bryston; her mother-in-law, Betty Lockee; sisters-in-law, Tina Locklear and her husband, Victor, Benita Rhyne and her husband, Jon, and Cedron Adcock and her husband, Mike; and numerous aunts, uncles; nieces, nephews, cousins, co-worker, neighbors, and friends left to cherish her memory.

The memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Pleasant View Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Burt Wilbur officiating.  The family will greet friends at the church following the service.
