Rev. Roger C. Webb

Rev. Roger C. Webb, 68, of Morganton, NC, went to his Heavenly Home on Sunday, February 16, 2020. Born on May 28, 1951, he was the son of the late Clarence and Mildred Webb. Roger was a Minister at Community Baptist Church in Drexel, NC. He worked at Drexel Heritage for over 30 years. Roger was a loving husband, father and pastor.

Roger is survived by his son, Tim Webb (Kelsey); daughters, Teresa Woody (Jeff) and Christy French (Paul); grandchildren, Allie Webb, Anna Coerse, Cooper Webb, Mindy Hollifield, Jessica Webb, Brian Webb, Haley French, Nathan French; four great-grandchildren; brother, Ronnie Webb; sisters, Lesa Adkins, Rebecca Jane Webb, Janice Carol Ledford; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Roger is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Ann Webb; great-granddaughter, Lily Hollifield.

The family will receive friends from 11:00am until noon, Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Son Light Baptist Church. A celebration of Roger’s life will be held at noon in the church with the Rev. Michael Webb officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Community Baptist Church of Drexel.
