Richard Graham Herbison III

Richard Graham Herbison III, 63 of Nebo, NC passed away on December 28, 2016 peacefully in his sleep. He was preceded in death by his father Richard G. Herbison Jr. He is survived by his loving mother Priscilla Moore, his brothers Thomas and Steven Herbison. Rich was born in Oneida, NY on June 23, 1953. Rich attended and graduated from North Carolina State University located in Raleigh, NC. He succeeded in a career in the computer wholesale industry, working many years at Tech Data Corporation in Clearwater, FL, as well as their Toronto Canada location. Rich enjoyed the Caribbean Islands and Key West FL, vacationing in both places many times over the years. He also owned property and lived in Xcalak Mexico for a period of time. He was an avid scuba diver in his earlier life. Rich was also a huge sports fan, following the Carolina Panthers and many college teams and having season tickets for the Tampa Bay Rays when he lived in Florida. More recently Rich moved back to Nebo, NC and worked for Continental Tevis in Morganton, building brake systems that are used by most major car manufactures. Rich will always be remembered for his relaxed, casual demeanor and love of sports. He most certainly is loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
