Richard Jacobs

Richard Jacobs, 57, of Connelly Springs passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019.  Born in Robeson County, NC on April 4, 1962, he was the son of Geraldine Jacobs Ferrell of Connelly Springs.  Richard was an avid golfer who enjoyed socializing with friends and sitting under his building.  He loved his dogs.

Mr. Jacobs is survived by his brothers, Jonathan Wyles (Carla) and James Pete Wyles (Mary Ann); sisters, Donna Strickland, Jackie Sparrow (Junior), Angel Mort (Charles), and Emma Peterson (Larry); uncle, Charles Jacobs; step-father, Fredrick Ferrell; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Richard was preceded in death by a brother, Vinson Strickland.

A celebration of life will be held at Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Welcome Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. David Scott Payne officiating.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
