Ricky Donald Hoyle, 60, of Morganton passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020. Born in Burke County, NC on July 9, 1959, he was the son of the late Donald Wesley Hoyle and Shirleen Chapman Hoyle. He was a veteran of the US Army. Ricky loved his family and was looked up to as a brother/father figure. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, and talking about the military.
Mr. Hoyle is survived by his bothers, Gregory Allen Hoyle, Steven Eric Hoyle, and Christopher Hoyle and wife, Jennifer Ward; sister, Glenda Jane Michaels; nephew, Kirk Wesley Hoyle; nieces, Amber Adkins Hoyle and Tiffany Marie Bowen; and a grandchild.
In addition to his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by his daughter, Renee Hoyle; and girlfriend, Danette Keeling.
A service for Ricky will be held at a later date.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
